MACHINE LIFE CYCLE TRACKING
A machine may be tracked through its entire life cycle, including purchase, audits, upgrades, repairs and discard method/reason. Discarded machines remain in the database and can be viewed on the Search Machines page by selecting “Discarded Machines”. Researching the reasons, methods and special circumstances surrounding the decision to discard machines enables the customer to better understand the machine life cycle, which in turn, allows for more informed purchasing decisions. Additionally, the software provides a way for other sites to view available machines for re-allocation.
